The MacLean Brothers
WORLD-RECORD HOLDING ROWERS, ADVENTURERS, CLEAN WATER CHAMPIONS

“We were of the mindset that if we can keep morale high and attract positive things, we’re going to feel better, we’re going to enjoy the experience, and the boat’s going to go faster.”

Scottish brothers Ewan, Jamie, and Lachlan MacLean combine engineering, design, and philosophy to lead through resilience, teamwork, and purpose. In 2020, despite little rowing experience, they crossed the Atlantic Ocean, breaking three world records and raising more than £200,000 for charity — a journey that inspired the launch of The Maclean Foundation in 2023. In 2025, they completed a record-breaking 9,000-mile unsupported row across the Pacific in 139 days, raising over £1 million to bring clean water to more than 40,000 people in Madagascar.
